Curatorial Projects

Curating is an exciting experience; designing and executing an exhibition requires a balance of creative vision and administrative/networking skills. It is deeply fulfilling to unite the artists and their work with new audiences in an engaging and meaningful way.

Hommage à la Ville, OFF Interarts Gallery, Montreal, September 2010
What do we love about Montreal? What draws people here? What convinces them to stay? Is it the food, the music scene, or the European style architecture? Is it the Francophone culture, summer festivals, racial diversity, a slower pace of life (relative to other large centres) or even the bicycle culture? These are the questions that this exhibition attempts to address. Hommage à la Ville brought together 22 local francophone and anglophone artists working in drawing, painting, print, illustration, photography, video, and sculpture, to pay collective tribute to the eclectic city that they work and play in.
